Congratulations to Level Up Lab trainee, Kari Sherwood who was recently named the Mary Malcomson Raphael Scholar by CEW+!
The CEW+ program honors the academic performance & potential of women whose education has been interrupted or who serve as primary caregivers. Kari is pursuing a dual Ph.D. in Social Work and Developmental Psychology. She is committed to creating a more equitable workforce and her dissertation focuses on the feasibility of an online intervention for autistic, transition-age-youth aimed at assisting participant’s social conversations in the workplace. Kari is also exploring the prevalence of microaggressions towards autistic employees as part of the study.
